This thermostat is calibrated to give a water temperature of approximately 65 degrees centigrade in normal operation. Adjustment is carried out by means of the control knob, which can be rotated clockwise to reduce the setting.

In addition to temperature control, the TSDR incorporates an over temperature cut-out to prevent excessive water temperatures.

Should the over temperature cut-out operate the reset pin will be pushed upwards and become levell or slightly proud of the upper surface of the cover.
